The Colts have signed veteran cornerback Matt Haselbeck to a one-year contract worth $8.5 million, the team announced Thursday.
The deal is the third-largest deal in the franchise’s history.
Hasselbeck, 28, has spent the past four seasons with the Colts, spending the past three seasons on the active roster.
He recorded two interceptions in 2016.
Hasselbakce has started all 14 games he’s played in the past two seasons, including the past five.
Haselbakcce had six interceptions in his first season with the Indianapolis Colts.
He also had one pass defended in 2016 and played in 11 games last season.
